Post-Licensing

The Virginia Real Estate Board requires new salespersons to complete a 30 hour post license education program of study within one year of initial licensure. Keep in mind that if this requirement is not satisfied by the 1 year anniversary of the license issuance, the license will be placed in inactive status by the Real Estate Board and the sales person will be required to immediately STOP acting as a licensee until the requirement is satisfied AND the license is reactivated.
